a spurt of pink, a dash of yellow
a tint of orange and you are so

full of life
a burst of color
on a quiet night
every bee i see is dead
every coin’s turned on its head
all that we read has all been read
the things we say
have all been said

oh life, it seems a tiny room
being born into a structured doom
but all’s not lost, no
all’s not set
what you seek is what you’ll get
I feel blessed to not only have a good memory, but good memories to remember.
fill up on crackers and decide to stay in,
drink a bit of wine so you don’t have to drive,
then paint, draw, study, read a book.
‘cause it’s ok to be a nerd.
Pray For Daisy
About a year ago, I introduced you to some friends of the family - the Merricks… their 5 year old daughter at the time had just been diagnosed with cancer… Daisy’s had surgeries since that time to remove the cancer, been through radiation and chemo - and she was healed… not once, but twice!
She’s been in remission for 6 months… This past week, Daisy went in for her check up… and it’s back for the 3rd flipp’n time! She has already been through surgery, but the next steps are looking different than the past 2 times. Pray for this little light bulb - Daisy, for her parents, for her big brother, and for the physicians….

the reality is, a guy will always always find someone else.
so…….there we have it.
i know this is just a place to give a tiny shout
but i want those of you who read this to know you’re worth more than you think.
maybe you already feel like you are, but i’d like to reassure you, it never hurts.
i can try to veil the fact that i only feel this way because of God
because of Christ and all He does for me
that lingo turns a lot of people off, sometimes even me too
but it’s true.
there’s not been a single person who’s cured what ails me
i would like to be proven wrong, but people really fail, ourselves and each other.
God is the only steadfast being, the root of friendship and love and all things good.
i am grateful to Him more my tiny shouts can express.
